Anyone ever heard of Credit Solutions??

I am looking for options available to decrease credit card debt. Has anyone ever heard of Credit Solutions? What are they about?
www.creditsolutions.com
I spoke with one of their representatives and I was wondering if any of your creditors would call your house or place of employment once the payments went unpaid and if so, how long do they continue to call?

I am thinking of signing up for this. Its either this or not pay on my bills. I have just ran into a brick wall with to much debt. I have been paying on 7 cards for the last 5 years on time and over the minimum payment. I have a car payment, rent, insurance, Cell phone, and other payments that are a must. credit score is ok, not good because of the outstanding credit I have but good enough that I don’t want to totally screw myself. It was either get laid off at work or take a pay cut. Has anyone heard anything good on this company? Please let me know.

prior to collection; This is a legitimate question. Is there a department within the CC company(s) that have the authority, ability (and desire) to offer a reduction and
resolution of the outstanding account? I have become disabled; one of the major CC companies that I had Disability Insurance for–immediately sent the account to collection when I sent in the claim for Disability payment. I have 3 accounts, 2 pretty large, would like to somehow settle but it would have to be for substantially less than owed. The issues have escalated over the last 3 or so months; the late fees and “over the limit” charges (from late fees, etc); have greatly increased the balances. Yes, the phone calls are unbearable; I am afraid to answer my phone, but also know I must address this issue somehow. Please do not forward this to any debt agencies.
Additionally I contacted one of the companies several weeks ago (probably the collection arm–said it was hdqtrs) and I was completely shocked by the verbal “belittling” I received from the representative. It was at that point that my impression of my situation changed drastically.

I am thinking of dealing with Clear One Debt Relief and it sounds to good to be true. What makes me leary is that they want me to go delinquent on my cards before they will step in and they will take my payments out of my checking account each month. They say they can take my $15,350.00 credit card debt and reduce it 47% but they will not deal with the company’s until I am delinquent for at least 2 months and there is no guarantee that these company’s will take their offer. I want to read the contract but I have to sign up first. Has anyone else been screwed by any of these company’s?

Did it ruin you’re credit rating?

I have 4 credit cards (that have been cut up for a long time!) that are maxed out, and I’m looking for a way to take care of them before they go to collections (some for the second time). I have looked into In Charge Debt Solutions, but I have no idea what it’ll do to my credit if I use it. I’m worried, but I want to get these cards taken care of!

I am considering this, and the company is recomended by BBB as being legitimate, they get the unsecured credit card companies to reduce your balances, by paying them a fee, and set up a smaller payment plan that is paid off in 3-5 years, instead of 10-25 years. The actual benefit is they are able to get them to eliminate a lot of the debt, instead of just renegotiating terms, APRS. etc. They work for you, not the c/c companies, who now are able to raise APRS and minimum payments at their discretion. They work for you to obtain a workable settlement for each c/c company. I do realize that it would impact my credit rating , but not as bad as a bankrupcty would , which I don’t want to do anyway. If anyone has any feedback, let me know.
